Bonne fête André ! Happy Birthday André!

Bon mercredi!

Happy Wednesday!
it is André,s 30th birthday today! gosh... where has all this time gone by? With the wind I guess! I always find it difficult to create a masculine card, and this one, was no exception! When I found the almost perfect image from Zoe, at Make it Crafty, caled Super dad, I say almost, cause there is no second baby on the way! I wonder what I could do.... I decided to hide the baby and replace it with a tool belt, from Mo Manning, Mr. Fixit, that I used two years ago, cause André is an electrician! Give 2 or 3 more years to Gabriel, and he will certainly act exactly like the little guy on the image! I printed the image on xpress blending card, colored with Copics, my paper is from Creative Memories, a very vintage collection! I also created the matching Boitatou.

Wonderful Danielle - I am grinning from ear to ear! No second baby in sight - hmmmm - it's hard being a parent. Well this super dad looks like most moms I know! Your son will love it - I wonder if he will catch the hint with the clock on the card. Time is ticking by!

Danielle you are so clever! What a brilliant idea to marry the two stamps to make a perfect card! Your coloring is fabulous as always as well as your matching box. Hope your son has the best birthday ever. Maybe next year you can use the original stamp. LOL!!!
Hugs, Cathy

This is fabulous, Danielle. And even more so since it's a male card--I dread making one of those...lol. Terrific image (André must be a multi-tasker) superbly coloured. Brilliant idea hiding the baby with the tool belt. Love that you always have a matching decorated box-envelope.
Hugs,
Norma

Danielle!!!!! You have created a fabulous card. Everything is so beautiful and your idea of joining two images together is awesome. I love it all and I´m pretty sure your son will do too. I've been a little "mad" lately. My husband passed away last year after some months with a brain tumour - he was not talking or walking... it was very difficult and I still miss him and I´m having a lot of up and downs. But... life goes on and we need to live. and nothing better than visit your blog to see your amazing creations!!!!
Huge hugs,
